Welcome to MSC Educational Technology Center!

IMPORTANT NOTICE

The Educational Technology Training Center, which has been located in the old Lecture Complex (Building C) on the Macon State College Campus has moved to make room for the new School of Education Building which will be built where our old building and two other buildings are currently located.

The construction will take about two years during which time our classrooms will be located on the second floor of the School of Education, located in the Student Life Center in Rooms 252 and 255.  Offices will be located in the School of Business, in the Professional Sciences Building on the third floor in rooms 369 through 377.

The move is almost complete and we are recovering so please be patient with us as we settle into our new location.  Our phone numbers and email addresses remain the same.

The Educational Technology Centers work collaboratively to provide professional learning, consulting, and service for Georgia educators to promote the appropriate use of technology in support of teaching, learning, and leadership.

The fundamental goals of the Macon ETCs are:

  • To promote the use of a variety of technologies in improving student achievement across Central Georgia.
  • To establish strategic and productive methods for the use of instructional technologies.
  • To develop effective training in the use of instructional technologies.
  • To promote the development of emerging and innovative instructional technologies.
  • To work collaboratively with Macon State College's School of Education to support the mission of the Georgia Department of Education.
ETC Macon supports Title IID Competitive Grants by providing consultative services to assist school officials in applying for grants. We also provide technical and instructional support services. See the eMath and Wireless Project links under the Programs menu for more information on how ETC Macon can assist you with these vital Title IID programs.
