Mary has been with the Macon State College ETTC since August 2006. She earned a Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Fort Valley State University, an Educational Specialist degree in Elementary Education from Troy University, a certificate in Information Technology from Macon State College, and has over 20 years of teaching and technology experience. She holds a T6 Georgia teaching certificate in P-5 with Teacher Support Specialist endorsement. Mary has taught elementary school grades 2 - 5 and has also served as an Instructional Technology Specialist for a school system.

Mary is married to Chris Parrish. They have a blended family of 6 grown children and enjoy spending time with their 3 beautiful grandchildren.
